Photographers Note
I live in Emirgan, Istanbul. One of the oldest Ottoman towns near the Bosphorus. And it is certainly one of the most beautiful and unspoiled (preserved) places in Istanbul both nature and history wise. The photo was taken at the Emirgan Mosque.
Emirgan Mosque faces the famous spreading plane tree of Emirgan, under which writers and intellectuals used to gather for conversation in the 19th and early 20th centuries. It was founded in 1781 by Abdülhamid I in memory of his son Mehmet who died at an early age and his mother Hümasah Kadin. It was built on the site of the magnificent waterfront palace of Emirguneoglu Yusuf Pasa, and rebuilt during the reign of Mahmut II. It is a square mosque with a wooden roof and adjoining the eastern façade is a two-storey wooden hünkâr kasri (royal pavillion used by the sultan when he visited the mosque). The horologe room next to the fountain is now occupied by cafes.

we love the perspective here.
Great idea to capture this towers this way.
The subject is well contrasted with the blue sky.

After reading all the notes, I can't wait to see the mosque. Do you you have any pictures of it?
I love the picture. The title is great "pigeon's dance". Nice job.

Kuşların kanatlarının zıt konumlarda oluşu, tam da başlığın dediği gibi bir dans etkisi oluşturuyor. Gerçekten harika. Açı da çok güzel. Elinize sağlık,

Hi Alp
A fantastic POV. The tower looks taller & majestic from this view. Great perspective also of the flying pegions. Against the blue background, it's a very good shot

Hello Alp
as i said in the thread, forget the points ... the can't help you to improve your work ... i like this compo, because your POV is original and the peageon give a nice atmospher ... A good compo as many in your gallery. But your underexposed compo as your last post is too underexposed, and the part with light are overexposed ... what a pity because you have the eye and the ideas for good compo. Hope you will manage the exposure better in a few times (try differents exposure, and the focus had to be in part with light ...)

What a lovely composition for a really powerful POV!
The colors are wonderful, and you have managed to capture great detail in the tower while retaining a correctly exposed sky. Truly wonderful work!
I am also impressed by the birds that are so perfectly placed and in such perfect poses, although I guess you had less to do with how they posed... :P
It's lovely how the sun partially hits one of the birds, really bringing it out in the picture. And the other one, with both its wings forward, is like a holy bird. Really manificent work!
Thank You for sharing!
Julia
