Photographer’s Note
Milford Sound. Are these the Stirling Falls? My memory fails me and so does my NZ guide book. Taken from the boat as we cruised the Sound. Waterfalls are challenging to capture, and I've never been happy with my previous attempts. But these have a wonderful luminosity that really pleases me. I've sharpened the image more than I usually do to help emphasize that flavour. Also used levels and hues gently.

Super view of Stirling Falls John. I looked it up on Google and there are quite a few photos to compare this with.
The mist and fall of the water is well captured. The colours and details are all quite stunning. Looks great, TFS

Hi John,
Good shot! I think that the composition lacks something but it is still OK. The splashing water and the mist are great.

I like the positioning within the frame and the cascading water looks great from this angle.Only negative is the light on the bottom rhs is a little distracting

Talk about angel hair !
Great shot that makes you feel the water is floating. Your lens caught a bit of sunshine on the bottom right. I do not know how one can fix such problems except with the use of lens shades .
