| This little girl kept trying to sell me a trinket box by handing it to me and then running away - smiling and laughing. Eventually I caved in and bought it from her, then took this photo. This was on an out of the way path in Petra, and our Bedouin friend who we had met earlier told us that her family still lived in the caves on the outskirts of Petra. Up until about 20 years ago, this is how most of them lived. Then the government stepped in, and most now live in a village just outside Petra. |

Hello Leanne,
Incredible capture of this gorgeous little girl. The girl's captured extremely sharp and in great detail. I like your idea of an overexposed background but perhaps it's slightly too bright or too much of it. A very tiny cropping from the left may put make focus slightly better, i.e. a square-like frame. TFS.

This is excellent, looks very 'world press photo'. Your are really good at this and the kids respond very well to you and your camera.
