Leopard Kill Photo

Photographer’s Note

Saw this Leopard taking it's kill from the night before, out of a tree. Early morning shot was difficult with the low lighting and camera shake from my long lens. I used D2X and 600mm f4. Shutter was 1/30th and Wide open.

The image is outstanding from all points of view, certainly worth the National Geographic. I understand the need to advertise, but I would try to do it in a less obvious fashion, in order not to distract too much from the image itself.

Well Brad very nicely done. I love the side lighting and the exposure details in this photo. The leopard is nicely framed in this tree with a catch of course. An incredible wild creature indeed. Outstanding work in every way. Thanks for sharing and welcome to TE!

Excellent catch...for you and the leopard.The light was perfect at this time of day to be wide open.
