[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I believe this is the third picture I took with my digital camera. It is a shot of a typical house in Los Roques, specifically of the Gran Roque, the main island of the archipelago. I was attracted to the bright, vivid color of the house, which is typical of the island.

"Lying on the northern edge of the archipelago, Gran Roque is the main island. On its southern side is a fishing village of the same name with a population of 1200.

The sandy streets are lined with brightly painted houses. There are no traffic problems, as the only vehicles aare garbage trucks and water trucks and five small electric trolleys.

Unlike other islands which are sandy and completely flat, Gran Roque has several massive rocky humps along its northewestern coast and cliffs that drop almost vertically into the sea.

wonderful soft color pleases the eye. nice solitary mood conveyed in this shot. good color management, i could do without the wires but again you can not control everything.
