Today was the big day for the Chinese people living in Paris. They made a great ceremony along the "Champs Elysées" the whole afternoon.
Today, was the first day of the New Chinese year under the sign of the Monkey. In the frame of the Chinese year in France, it was probably the climax of this special cultural partnership between France and China together with the red enlightement of the Eiffel tower for 5 days. I noticed several posting reminding us that China had a 5,000 year old History ! There is probably a lot to learn over there...
Among the beautiful elements of this ceremony, there were this huge dragon. I found it great with its lovely colors.
Technically, that was a hard day. Not too much light, an incredible crowd. About 200,000 people I've been told... Awful monsters to fight with... No, I'm joking.
So, I had to shoot above my head. Quite a tiring day. This shot was processed through Neatimage and the colors were enhanced a little bit with the adjustment curves in Photshop. No reframe, just a lot of *.jpg compression to keep below 200 ko.

A good shot, taken in difficult circumstances. I like the strong bright colours. Thank you for sharing it.
