Kinda like the idea Dara, but can't say you were successful here. I think the basic setting is very nice and the colors are very cool. But the composition would have been much better if the pooch had been entering the frame.

You had everything you needed to take a very good photo, but I think you missed it somehow. I do not mind the dog entering, or leaving, the image (in fact, I prefer the photo as it is now), but the colors are quite pale, and the image it is divided by two with the horizon line almost in the middle. I would have included some more of the desert in the foreground, and less sky.
