Oh no,Tourists again!, a photo from Potosi, South

Photographer's Note

Laguna Chiarcota (about 4000m above sealevel)is one of many lagunas between Salar de Uyuni and the Chilean border.
Each of it has another color,depending on the mineral slat in it and the daytime(-light)
In lagunas where you can`t see flamingos the water is poisonous.
This is not one of my best shots from my tour there,but I like it because the lama is looking at me.

Hi Andreas,
There might be a bit too much light, but the shot is really nice. I like that the lama is on the blue background of the river, on the white, it would have been difficult to see. It has a great expression and these kind of pictures are difficult to catch. Well done,

i like this..the swans are incongruous..normally associated with pastures green and village greens..although they are wild birds and feed and nest anywhere where there is water...
the llama..is it a guanaco?..intrigues me as does south america..patagonia in particular..i have friends from columbia and chile..
it is a good shot...

you are bringing a lot together here,
the saltlake, the mountains, flamengo's the funny lama and on the foreground very heavy the grass from the highlands, Well composed.

Yesterday, I saw lamas in Discovery channel in show of South America. And I feel lucky to see this creature from your camera too.
Beautiful picture of wildlife and nature. The Swan pair is also looking great.
Good colorful photo with good saturation.
