Photographer’s Note
On of the best places for a nice sunset:
Mallory Square in Key West.
Sunset Celebration takes place at Mallory Square in
Key West, Florida. The participants of this Key West
attraction consist of arts and crafts exhibitors,
street performers, food carts, psychics and of course
the thousands of tourists from around the world who
visit this Key West art show. Each night around two
hours before sunset masses of people, both locals and
tourists alike, flock to the water's edge to
experience a multicultural happening and to watch the
sun sink into the Gulf of Mexico.

scanned from a paper photo with a CanoScan FB630U,
so the quality is not so good as normally,
but it´s to celebrate my 100th uploaded photo!

Beautiful shot, with a good composition. However, the picture quality don't look very good (noise, poor resolution?). But the image itself is very peaceful.

Amazing shot, I'm really surprised this hasn't received more points/critiques. Love the golden colour of the sky and the boat is spectacular.
Well done.

Love this picture! I won't dwell on the colours and composition much, but I'd like to say that to my mind scanned photos are warmer, more spiritual, if you like =) So don't bother about the noise and bla-bla-bla =)

HI Thorsten,
I agree with Brendan about the points. It is a really great picture! I love the composition with the boat and the colors. It kinda takes you back in time with the pirates :)

Knowing that is was scanned makes it possible to forgive a lot, but there's still a bit of thread or something in the middle of the sunlight that should be cloned out.
A good capture; nice balance, nice reflections. But where's the green flash? :-)

Hello Thorsten,
Superbes couleurs !
Amicalement et à bientôt,
Robert

Hi Thorsten
thanks for your critic
I watched a part of your gallery and find this one excellent. I like the backlight style and composure of scenery is well done. I won't talk about noise what you said it's scanned picture.
Have a good day
