This was taken a few months back when I went to go to the opening of a friend's friend's art show. The event took place in a little gallery downtown.
I like how the painted heads are lit up, but the "real" heads are cast in shadow. This was taken with digital 400ISO equivalent (thus the noise) and no flash.
Post-pro: converted to b/w, cropped bit of bottom and sides, curves.

Very strange and mysterious scene. The pictures on the wall makes an exellent composition. It is very interesting how the look run away to the pictures on the wall, like they are more important than the real sitting peoples. Very thoughtful shot.

Very interesting composition Alex.
My eyes just seem to bounce from the painted faces down to the real faces, Good job.
Only thing I'd change here is adjust levels so that the sitting people are less lit and are shown more as shadows. I think it can have a nice effect (ws tomorrow, I'm all out for today)
Good shot anyway.

Wonderful composition. Looks great in black and white. Lovely atmosphere you captured here.

It's a very good atmospheric shot, Alex. I like the use of b/w, and the silhouettes. There are too big white areas at the upper corner, I'd crop tighter. I made a WS.
I hope you like it. Well seen and done.

The noise works fine here, as well the BW. I also find funny the composition as the paintings seem to be the real spectators.
