View from the rim of the Ngorongoro crater.
The bottom of the crater seems voids of life when seen from the distance. Yet once at the bottom, not 5 minutes passes without seing a 'beast'.
Interestingly, although elephants are found in the crater, they are only male group. Females and young do not go to the bottom due to lack of ressource. They tend to stay in the forest surrounding the crater.
