Photographer’s Note
I'm not sure how much slower a calesa can go. This shot was taken in Angeles City on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. Calesas are not the most popular mode of mass transit today. The jeepney is, but you do see them around from time to time. Again, not a beauty shot, but one of daily life that I like to take to remind me of how things were in the places I lived or visited.
