Photographer’s Note
Hi all,
It has been a long time since i posted anything on TE because of a lot of reasons and it feels good to be back. I thought I would start from where i had left the last time i was on the site - life on the streets. This man here again seems to be a long time traveller, having lost hope of whatever he had come to do in he city. I could see the look of relaxed content on his face that we get when we leave everything to destiny and let life pass by us.

Bonjour Ranjith,

Hi Ranjith, It is nice to see your new post. It is a heavy topic you brought up here. It looks like a harsh life. Good that it was cold yet.
Nice capture of the expression of the guy and the environment he is situated, together with another person in the view. I like the composition and nice quality you have captured in this picture.

Hello Ranjith,
we are actually in Pondichery where we are taking some rest on the seaside. Tomorrow we are leaving for Mammallapuram and then Chennai. A scene that we can see everyday here, he looks a bit sad and tired like us ;o), may be we will look like this at the end of our trip ;oP
Well seen

Hi Ranjith
Excellent to see you after what seems like a very long time.
Good capture of the mood in this photo ... I like the way one eye of the person in this photo seems to be peeking through the dark face of this person ... (I mean dark face because of the shadow of the cap)
thanks for sharing this one man
have a nice week ... regards .... sarju

Hi Ranjith,
Great to see you back posting...You have well captured that "relaxed content" look of this man, as he appears without hope or ambition. The clarity is superb, the POV well chosen, and the colours natural and not overdone. You captured this surely at the decisive moment. The textured wall enhances. Great work.

Hi Ranjith,
Glad to see you back and the continuation of the theme is a good follow up. You have made good consideration with this POV to show the simplicity of his life as depicted by the plain background. The relax atmosphere is further emphasized by the other resting figure. Excellent clarity and lighting. Wonderful shot!! Have a pleasant day.

Hi Ranjith,
Theres a look of sadness of sadness on the mans face that has me looking at it for a long time. Is he homeless? Is he travelling, or is he just taking a rest. The bag looks too clean to be homeless. An interesting image.
And welcome back:-)

I like this photo since it gives a glimpse of the life of this young man. This is an example of Photojournalism. The photo is sharp, good composition and lighting. The society has failed to give this man his place and it is a shame. Cheers.
