Photographer’s Note
My favourite slovak event takes place on one of the weekends in November. All the wine-cellars from Trnava to Bratislava opens to the public and for a small amount you can visit them all and drink/taste as much wine as you manage.
This year there were 63 different wine-cellars to visit. Since each cellar can house several different producers and each producer several different wines, well, you can do the maths...
This shot was taken in the wine-cellars of the Pezinok castle. It was late Saturday evening and I had already gone through a great part of the cellars...
