Golden Wave, Makua Beach Photo

Photographer’s Note

I was sitting a watching the color of the sunlight on the ocean and the clouds above, at Makua Beach near Kaena Point State Park. This image was prior to my image Angry Sea #1, but this one on 35mm. In this image, I was exploring the patterns that waves can make as they hit shore.

Just gorgeous! Good work on exposition: Long enough expo time to make vivid the movement of the water while preserving its texture. Short enough as to not blow out the sky and loos all the intricate details of the clouds! Congrats.

Wow, what an amazing shot. The colours are so beautiful and kind of different which I really love. The way you have captured the movemnt of the waves is fantastic. The contrast between dark and light is also great and the cloud cover is another great addition. Great composition and well captured!

Like others have said the exposure time was perfect for stopping the waves. Great low light, nice clouds and impressive pastel colours.

It's a veru good picture, here the courbs of the waves give a great voluime to the picture, give moove too. THe luminosity an d the colors are interesting. Well done
