A great composition you've managed to capture here David. I like the way you separate the picture into three areas - the smoothness of the cold black rocks in the foreground - the power of the waves and the sea in the middle ground - the peacefulness and the warmth of the sunset in the background, and then you bring them together with such an amazing luminescence. A beautiful photograph.

Great shot! The sun, although a little spot, looks like a shining little diamond and it provides for just enough light to illuminate the stones on the foreground, creating a very nice atmosphere and a original composition. Shots like these deserve a museum.

Great shot david, youve caught the wave perfectly and the exposure is great! did you use a remote control to take this shot to get the timing right?! i bought a remote for my D50 yesterday and will hopfully get to use it one day this week at the coast! lovely shot and thanks for sharing these beautiful moments!

This is a fantastic shot and probably the best one in the whole of your gallery. The waves have been caught at the crucial moment, the rocks and pebbles in the foreground are nice and sharp with good colours and shade, and the sun and cloud formation is caught at a great moment. The colours are truely awesome. Well done indeed.

The title fits well with this splendid and lovely moment just near the Sea with a excelent perspective and low angle approach. Very well seen with great DOF and depth. The breaking wave is nicely capture. Very goo exposition time with good light and fine sharpness. Also a excelent enquadrement, with the Sun in a splendid position and a nature atmosphere moment composition so well done.

I like the softening effect that the overall picture niece and making a feeling of soft. The slow speed work well with this image, especially the wave hitting the rock and make the "tree" shape from the crash.

Very nice effects. Extraordinary colours. The sun in front of you doesn't put the foreground in the black : we cans still have sun reflects on stones and a superbe effect on the waves.

quel beau couché de soleil, avec cette fague qui fonce sur vous. Y a-t-il des projections sur l'appareil ?
Le cadrage au ras du sol est excellent et met bien en relief les galets sur laquel la lumière jeter ses dernières forces.
