Photographer’s Note
Two shots then
She disappeared.
She made no noise.
She didn't pass me on the path.
She didn't appear from a door.
There is no door.
She disappeared.
She made no noise.
Just..
Silent footsteps
The fourth shot showing the darkened past of the "Closes'" in Edinburgh's Old Town.

hi Alex,
I came here twice :).. I like this photo a lot, but I find the white line of wall at the left disturbing my eye..I like to see the details and watch them...whatever, I am not that authorized :) I like the mood and your notes and grains and all..

This has a real "Mary King's Close" feel about it - very haunting and very Edinburgh. The real old Edinburgh away from the tartan gift shops and one o'clock gun.
A lovely atmosphere about this image. But...what's that white thing on the ledge above the archway??
