Kızkulesi (Leander's or Maiden's Tower)
Leander's Tower is constructed 2500 years ago. It was built over a small rock located over the border of Marmara sea and Bosphorus it also takes place between Asian and Europan contibebts. The history begins from Ancient Greek civilizations and continues with Byzantium and Ottoman civilizations. Leander Tower is served as a light house and many stories were told about its history. Ovidius documented a story about leander's Tower. The story is about the love between Hero and leandros. One night leandros was trying to reach to Tower by swimming to reach to his secret love. The light of Tower goes off and Leandros drawns when he was trying to meet his love. Today 6 story tall leanders Tower is used as a restaurant and cafe.

Hello Koray - excellent timing catching the blue hour, and the lighting is wonderful, the tower looks beautiful, if a little too centered. (Netlikte bir sorun yok, vapur hareket halinde idi heralde)

I have seen this tower and have an picture of it, but absoluty not as beautiful as this one. Although it's a bit in the center, i really like the mood in the sky and from the tower itself.

Beautifull point of view, excellent sharpness and beautifull colors for this night view. I do not like the bottom title much but it does not matter.
