Photographer’s Note

Good evening everyone! Here's the first shot of the Colours -series. This shot is taken about a month ago in Pellinge (an islet outside Porvoo in Finland) one afternoon when Denka and I were out there taking some seascape shots. PS-work: contrast, saturation, burn & dodge tools and different layer modes.

Hope you like it. Comments and critiques are welcomed.

Congratulations Paavo! I like your low POV which brings enough sky in the picture. Looking forward to see the rest of the Colours serie.

P.S. To be honest to my taste the rock on the right should be more yellowish less greenish.

Quel beau travail!. J'imagine que l'original est bien moins coloré. Mais cette avancée de cailloux est superbe avec ces couleurs.

Very nice perspective Paavo and the saturation is great. The image is sharp with good DOF too.

I see it has a 5 second exposure...it must have been a dark afternoon...well done.
