Photographer’s Note

Image took from le Saline Vecchie di Olbia in the early norming looking to Golfo Aranci, on the North-Eastern coast of Sardegna. It was a morning of strong wind, and i was at not less than 800 meters from the sea, on the top of a small sand dune.

Durign the summer season, every morning, in few hours many ferries and cruise ships entered in the Gulf of Olbia, were there are 2 of the biggest, and crowded, seaports of Sardegna: Olbia and Golfo Arancia, at not more of 15 km of distance.
Ferries arrived from the whole Italy: Savona, Genova, Livorno, La Spezia, Piombino, Civitavecchia, Roma-Fiumicino, Napoli and Palermo.

That image is dedicated to the victims of the Salaam-Boccaccio '98 that sank 40 miles off the Arabian coast.
