Part of my collection of building facades. After hearing the critique for the original version, wnet back to tweak it, to discover that a lady was sitting inside. Hope you like this version. Thanks.

Nice still life in form of a street scenery. I like what you did to the colors.

The overladen table is interesting too, very near a breaking point there. And as an engineer I might add that the diagonal struts donīt help much if you donīt take up the horisontal forces.

hey enrique

the desaturated tones in this shot are well done. it makes the bike stand out a lot, which i like. it doesn't look like this image is sharp, but i've been having monitor problems! haha!

the only thing i'm not sure i like is the right frame, it seems to be half in half out. you've got 3/4 of the bike and 1/4 of the doorway.

the colours and effect are very good, but i'm not liking that right frame. i think keeping the whole bike would have worked better.

very appealing shot, there's a lot to keep your attention in the photo. well done!

Hello Enrique,
Nicely framed scene with interesting and appealing desaturation work. I would have preferred the whole bycycle, but still it's a very nice and pleasant photo to watch.
Good work!
Best regards,
Chris

Buena foto hermano,y excelente composicion.
Me gustraria mas si la bici estuviera entera.

Hi Enrique. In terms of post-work, this is a clear improvement over the original - I like the desaturated colors, and the improved contrast/brightness inside the store where the additionally found detail is essential for the overall impression. Folks already mentioned the framing towards the righthand side, but I think overall for the spontaneous way you took it the result is pretty nice.

Excellent picture Enrique, I like a lot its contrast, and desaturation creates a lovely effect, compliments!!

have a nice day,
Fabio.

Bonjour Enrique,

I like the "pinkish" glow on the fruits and the lady's head, but I think I would have let the bike in B&W.

* I tried a WS to see if we could miss more of the bike (to strengthen the illusion of an old picture) and keep only the stone wall around this lovely scene. Of course it's not pretending to be better than your very well achieved picture, just a different view on it - WS are a wonderful tool to see what people mean and how they look at things from many perspectives, don't you think?

Amicalement - Viviane

Hi Enrique, good shot. i like how you usec the b/w and the deep blue only on the bycicle and on the fruit boxes.
this is a normal view for me...a one of the thousands shops that there are in the Italian city centre, a normal vegetable shops, but your POV was perfect to have a spy-view inside, with a long perspective.

p.s.
the 61 isn't the number of the street.
in Italy each city have a different way to give a number to the buildings.
all the streets have a name (we haven't city with numbers as name) and p.e. in Milan each building have a progressiv number from the city centre (Duomo Square is the geographical centre of Milan) to the suburb. on the right side there are the evens and the odds on the left!
in Genova there are 2 type of number, the black one for the entire building (villas or condos) and the red ones for the shops (and can be more than one for every building).
in Venice there is another one way, original from the mid-age, with the city that is composed by 6 zones (the Sestanti) with a spiral form from Piazza San Marco (is usual say in Italy that only a post-man can find an adress in Venice!!), in Roma is similar to the one of Milan, and in Florence i think that is similar to the one of Genova, with every shop with a propre civic number. the 61!

ciao
