Photographer’s Note

This is not Mexico, nor blue-and-white Argentina, nor somewhere south of the Rio Grande. This is one of the many churches of the USA. Here in National City, Southern California, the population is about 2/3 Hispanic or Latino. And it shows. Not only on church façades, but everywhere.
For those who don't read Spanish, the church name is "The Light of the World". I like it. Not especially the church, but the light of this part of the world.

I love the way the top part of this building seems to be a part of the sky.

What a programme:La Luz del Mondo ;I think that this church looks like a ciné,(just because i never see church like that) . I like the spainish touch in US ,and the architecture.

I have found some photos I've missed. I too really like the light you captured here. The detail and color is excellent as well. I particularly like the the framing palm trees. Good note too.

curiosa igreja protestante, espero que cate menos dinheiro dos fiéis do que os cassinos de LV. gostei da arquitetura meio bregosa, o detalhe dos leões ficaram legais, gosto também da sminhas canterrâneas jerivás ali bem colocadas. boa luz e pov
