Photographer’s Note

I have seen all of my TE fellows posts from the Paris Chinese new year parade and was struck by the colorful photos we all took. I am also very glad to see the high quality of most posts. it was a fun day, and that was very interesting to see the way people photograph this kind of occasion. some are shy and stay far, some are quite daring and could almost knock out their subjects, haha!...

Pascal said only red was represented and he posted a yellow photo. Mine will be a mix of blue and red... Hope you like it!

This one was shot using the Sygma 70-200 f/2.8D lens from Alexandre (Naxius). A neat lens by all means!

Raaah, je vous envie, vous vous etes tous gaves de belles photos pendant cet evenement. Une belle image, (merci le tele d'Alex ;o)), c'est plein de details et de couleurs.
Vraiment superbe, tres beau theme.

le piqué est remarquable et ton cadrage est impécc. ce gars là est très photogénique, je l'ai aussi dans ma boite. mais je n'ai pas cette qualité d'image.

Tres sympa image, l'attitude du sujet est extra, comme son maquillage et vetement.
C'est un echange definitif, 50mm contre 70/200 c'est du bon boulot ça Eric :-)

Hello Eric,
Ce qui m'a impressionné la première fois que je t'ai vu, c'est que tu osais allé au devant des gens sans hésitation, et je dois dire que sur mon dernier post, j'ai appliqué cette première leçon ;o)))
Pour cette photo, le contraste entre le bleu du costume et le rose du maquillage est excellent.
L'image est très bien équilibré, De l'espace devant le visage pour accompagner le regard.
J'aime beaucoup !!!

Very well seen, Eric to catch her in the crowd. Such a wonderful expression, a glazed look and such detail too. Looks like you all had a great time, ther are many qulaity shots comign fromt eh day. Certainly looks a lot more colourful than in rotterdam. Ok, next year chinese new year in Paris...its in my agenda :)
