Photographer’s Note
I stumbled on this photogenic spot on a breezy afternoon in Paro, Bhutan. This is a covered bridge over the fast flowing Paro Chuu. The rails are lined with hundreds of prayer flags and the bridge serves as the main walking route between the dzong and the main part of town. As i was trying to get an abstract image of the blowing flags, a man started crossing the bridge, I kept my original focus but quickly recomposed to include the blurry figure in the background.

Great artistic and original idea. The wild array of colors in the foreground contrast nicely with the sihlouette of the man in the background. The blowing flags are almost incomprehencible but lead the eyes nicely to the figure in the back. Great choice of shutter speeds!

Whichever way it happened, this image carries so much emtion through its blurry colors, it positively shimmers in the mind. Well done indeed, David. Splendid "feel" here.
Cheers,
Francis
