Welcome to TE John... now to your capture I love the way you have composed this and managed to get the detail end grain picked out ,it is less defined with the front cross member so maybe a touch more sharpness and a hint more contrast is required to enhance this aspect of your capture, the colour shows a nice weathering quality about it.

Now a question.... the background.... what sort of thing are we looking at here ? I think I see hints of something on the right hand side but unsure how you achieved the density and uniformity of the colour .... enjoyable to view welcome again
