Photographer’s Note

Three of the most known mountains of the north Alps of Switzerland : the Eiger(3970m), Monch (4099m) and Jungfrau (4158m). There are 2 mountain village on hte bottom of these mountains : Grindelwald and Wengen. Wengen is the ski station that organise the "International Lauberhorn Ski Races". These downhill, which is the longest downhill of the Ski World Cup, will be run next Saterday (Jan 17th).
The Eiger is one of the most famous rock wall of the Alps, the north face is terrible. A lot of climbers have try it, also a lot of are dead in this wall.
The picture was taken during a flight from Bern to Berlin. We was only at 4000 m, just the same altitude as these montains. The rest of the land was cover with coulds. It is why I like this picture.

Very good photo considering it was taken from an airplane! Needs some cropping (see the workshop I've done) and [possibly] some other adjustments.

Very good mouintain shot where the summits seem to float around over the lower clouds. The alps always very exciting to see this way.

Joli panorama, les nuages en premier plan donne plus de pronfondeur à l'image. Les couleurs sont magnifiques

i love this picture....
i was in Wengen for trekking in those areas last week on my trip to switzerland and the view in this picture is very nice... i will post several more pictures soon, but i try to know how can i post stitch pictures here!

Je vois bien les Alpes de mon balcon, mais pas ainsi! Très belle image. J'allais dire que Neatimage pourrait améliorer la photo et je vois que c'est déjà fait dans le Workshop :-)

AMAZING photo. Well done. I was just in that area not too long ago and have a photo up on my account of the hills just outside grindelwald. I love it, thanks for sharing
