Little Big Wheel Photo

Photographer’s Note

Every December a Big wheel is installed in the centre of Lyon (Place Bellecour).
It is the second photo I publish here of this wheel, but this time I took it from the other side of the wheel, with a different perspective from a long pathway that leads to the wheel.
Place Bellecour is very central location, so it was not easy to take such a photo clean from pedestrians during the exposure.

Great depth you've created here with the pattern of the pavement leading into the composition nicely. The 8 second exposure has worked well to blur the wheel and bring out the stars in the street lamps. Good shadows and a nice deep blue colour to the sky. Well done.

those big wheels are a sort of boring bits, think that everybody has posted already at least one;
and it is not easy to find an interesting vrsion - and you have accomplished this "task" so well;
i love this wide, long, empty pavement leading our eyes to the main subject of the wheel;

Hi Alon,
Great noght shot. I love the perspective and the use of the wide angle makes the place seem huge! The presence of the colorful wheel, spinning and the far end of the Place adds a very graphical touch!
