Photographer’s Note
We were in the TienShan moutain range, in the east of Kazakhstan, on the chinese border, to climb the Marble Peak (6400 m).
The view was shot at the last camp (6000 m), very early in the morning of the summit day. On the left, in the background, you can see the Khan Tengri, the highest summit in this area (about 7000 meters).

Thank you for posting this beautiful pic.
As someone who loves high mountains but doesn't have the ability (or guts) to climb them I think this pic is wonderful. It really gives one an idea about mountain climbing.
