Photographer’s Note
The Rano Kau crater is one of the most beautiful locations on Easter Island. You can walk around the crater rim in about two hours.
This picture is actually a panorama, made of six shots in portrait mode and stitched together with a pano software. This procedure gives the pano not only an incredible resolution of more than 22 MP, but also an ultra wide focal length of just 12 mm.

Hi Karsten,
Une superbe image pour un sujet très impressionant ! Cet endroit de désolation s'est transformé en un magnifique mélanges de couleurs. J'adore le ciel avec cette très belle texture nuageuse. Le filtre polarisant a bien joué son rôle ici.
Well Done !

All your photos are incredible.
This one has a different appeal to it. It's very crisp and has great DOF. It's just that the thumbnail doesn't quite show it as well as the whole does.

This is really an amazing shot! I had taken the same picture about 10 years ago while in those days, the technology was not so advanced so my shot was just an 24mm view. What a pity! I really like your panorama shot, you did what I can't do!
