Sunset in Akureyri Photo

Photographer’s Note

One day I went out on the roof of my place to capture the sunset. It often gets quite colorful...

Although this photo has potential to become great, I can't quite put my finger on what should change... can someone help me out?

Hello! the colors are indeed wonderful! But I find that the sun is a bit dazzling. Maybe it's what bothers you?

I must disappoint you. There is nothing to change! Your photo shows a wonderful sunset in astonishing colours and a good sharpness. In my opinion it IS a great picture!

Wonderful colors. I think what this photo needs is a bit of cropping to emphasize the silhouette of the trees against the lake.

I did a workshop and liked the results. Uh oh, I posted a wrong version and then deleted it but I see that it counts as two workshps.

You can try it yourself, I cropped the picure from 11 x 8 down to 9x5 and I took the area all from the left and the bottom.
