-22 degrees, standing almost in middle of frozen Daugava River near to Kipsala Island and looking back at the Old City. Quite a mixture of architecture - but I love it!

Hi Gatis, beautiful skyline view of Riga! the contrast between the gigantic modern skyscraper and the old, wonderful towers is really strong.
perfect POV, with amazing light and colours in the sky.

You are right about the mix of architecture, Gatis, but all those different towers make this an interesting composition. I like the inclusion of the river ice in the foreground with good use of DOF. It makes this feel really cold. Sharpness is good too, but the sky is a bit noisy. It would have been good to filter this first with NeatImage or similar software.
