A fabulous photograph, Maciej - a perfectly exposed semi-silhouette with great use of DOF and framing against the setting sun (or maybe the rising sun - it would be good to have a note telling us about this scene). As a result of seeing this in the main gallery, I checked out the rest of your gallery and was very impressed. You have one of the most professional galleries that I have seen on TE for a while. Unfortunately because you don't critique other members' photos, your work only gets seen by those who spot your new postings on the main gallery. Cheers . . . David

Very fine backlight and also a well handled exposure in that backlight! nice L-compo that fills the frame so well.

Great shot, the DOF works really well on this one. The foreground darks contrast well with the vibrant oranges and yellows of the background, but as was said earlier, the fact that this is not a silhoutte provides great contextual information that would otherwise have been lost. Nice work!

Hello Maciej,
I think your photo is absolutely stunning. wonderfull light and great composition too, but I miss a photographer's note... I think it would be nice if you could write about the place where you took the shot and also tell us if you ate one of her chickens or whatever it is she is making...I think it would have been quite nice to just sit down there and eat it looking at the sunset...

This is a great shot! you've retained the clarity and sharp focus with great colours! I like how she has been light up nicely and has a beautiful warm glow. Have you done any post processing on this at all?
