Kensington Market Festival of Lights
To celebrate the longest and darkest night of the year people gather at the annual Kensington Market Festival of Lights. People come dress in various wild costumes!
Folks bring drums, pots, pans, bells, lanterns, make and bring a puppets or wear a masks. The annual lantern-lit celestial carnival and Samba Squad pumped procession move through the narrow, culturally rich streets of historic Kensington Market.

A very colorful photo. As it is, the picture does convey something festive. I wouldn't know if it is possible for this situation, but a lighter background would've highlighted the colors of his costume. or panning down (or widening the focus, then cropping) to capture the upper body. I believe the lower part of his costume is really colorful.

Hi Elton
Welcome to TE.
The photo is quite colourful, i have myself the photo parade experience and i know how difficult it is! The people always moving around, to get the best angle or catching the best moments or situations...
Keep sharing

Indeed it is very difficult to get a perfect shot in a crowd walking along the street, especially at night and under freezing temperature. I agree, this image would have much better if it had shown more of the costume of your subject. Nevertheless, this is a good capture.
