Photographer’s Note
Los Gigantes is a town that seems to be dominated more by British tourists, than other places on the island which have a larger German influence.
While walking along seemingly endless rows of stores selling the regular souvenir junk and restaurants serving fish & chips, I hit upon this clothing store. Most stores selling clothes are pretentious, at least at a basic level. They will have irrelevant names, such as "Energy", "Jetlag" or "Shipping & Bananas", and their shopfront window will be plastered with names of the big fashion-centres of the world (New York, Milan, London and so on). These would have you believe they are not merely stores selling clothes, they are an attitude to the world, and they are very much in touch with the hot spots of fashion.
Sheila & Jane wants none of that. They sell beautifull clothes, and seem to be content with that.
