I wandered into the Western Wall's synagogue, which is in a tunnel along the wall, and found this Rabbi surrounded by his listeners. The lighting is very yellow in the room, and the feeling is beyond holy. Jerusalem is a very special place, which feels like it's floating in a timeless ether, isolated from the rest of the globe's madness.

I just love the title and the expression on the rabbi's face.
To critique - I would suggest a bit tighter composition. The wall behind the character is blurry, so cutting it out would not be a loss. Also - as the rabbi's expression is the most valuable thing in this photo.

Yes, very much true - Jerusalem is different and your photo illustrates this very well. Sorry I did not see your comment on my rocking chair photo (taken a life ago) - I almost neve visit this site and dropped in just in order to download one of my old pictures
