| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Overlander falls are located in the province of British Columbia on the Fraser River and just east of the junction with Robson River. The falls are not very high but carry a large flow of water with a big swirling pool at the bottom. These falls are now recognized as the true upper limit of migration of the chinook salmon from the Pacific Ocean. Only about 10% of the salmon make it past the Reargard Falls, 16 Km downstream from these falls, to spawn in the glacial waters of the Robson River. By the time the salmon have reached this point, they have battled upstream approximately 1304 Km from the Pacific Ocean for the purposes of spawning. |

A beautiful place, Raza.. I was up that way in August. You have captured the rugged textures of the rocks & woods very well, and conveyed the sound of rushing water. Good color, too.
Regards, Lisa
