must be soo hard to post b&w from india. well done here, square format works well too. good compo, she looks almost like a statue on a platform. i also like the glance we get into the alley. awesome quality too, very professional tom!

What shot and great B&W colors. Real expressiveness in the colors, the way and where she is sitting, the dirts on the walls and the street and the wrinkles on here face and body. In all great shot.

Aaaw très joli! la pose est grandiose : mais si je peux me permettre, les deux fenêtres du coin gauche sont en trop, elles attirent trop l'oeil... c'est comme si tu avais appliqué une logique rectangulaire, de mouvement et de fuite -les fenêtre dans l'allée-, au format carré, plsu statique et qui pose son personnage. Le centrage sans point de fuite lui irait très bien IMO.

fantastic shot. her pose and expression on her face just makes this shot. she looks like she's seen it all before! the b&w conversion is flawless too. the only thing i would change is to have her a bit more central in the frame. great work.

Bonjour Tom, Je me permets de te féliciter avec ce superbe œuvre d'art. Le noir et blanc marche tellement bien et accentue un peu le dramatique de la scène ainsi que ton point de vue qui est génial! La petite ruelle à gauche ajoute vraiment beaucoup à l'image je trouve. Cela fait vraiment la différence entre l’amateur et le maître, et cela le rend extrêmement intéressent pour des novices comme je suis moi ! Vraiment de grand art, bravo! Sabine

Tom bonjour - grand travail, splendide compo très forte et très intense (on dirait une statue sur un piedestal) - le NB est particulièrement bien choisi et donne beaucoup de caractère à l'image

hi Tom, great image. I like it mostly for the funny contrast between so casual, contemporary and mundane scene of eating the icecream and the general, very solemn general feel, composition and postprocessing of the image.

Nice shot of this well organiced woman sitting on a sack enjoying an ice cream. And I like the way she is sitting......you don't see a lot of elderly people in our countries sitting like that :O)

Superbe image Tom, ton N&B, je le dis une fois de plus, est parfait, ca va si bien a l'Inde meme si il y a tant de couleurs a montrer la bas. Les glaces, tout le monde en mange, des plus jeunes au plus vieux.
