Fantastic shot. What make it so beautiful....is the light ( soft & warm ) and the bird sitting right in the middle of the sun.
What puzzle me is that .... how did you get the sunlight in front of the picture wherelse the sun is at the background????

Speechless, totally speechless: the prowess demonstrated by this picture is beyond me.
How did you manage to take a picture against the sun (is it the sun or what?) and still have the foreground so bright? This is clearly not the effect of flash, nor it appears a Photoshop retouch
(if it is you're a master).

Bravo.

hello,
great light and colours. I like the fact that the bird is in the middle of the picture (though normally I dislike pictures in which the mian element is exactly in the middle, but this seems to be an exception to the rule:)) and that it's turned with its back to us. Like it was staring at the sun. IMHO the whole picture looks a bit like some painting. I love it :).

this is a really awesome photo. you've obviously gone to a lot of effort here and captured this really well.

but you haven't made the effort to write a photographer's note ... which is really disappointing.

That picture is exceptional. First, capturing a bird still is not easy. Then, that composition is so particular. Hwo could the sun be so fade, so that you could capture the bird and branches like that ?
The focus is very interesting too and the warm light add a final touch to that artistic view. Congratulations !

Très belle réalisation. C'est une image extrêmement poétique.
les couleurs sont chaudes et cet oiseau qui se détache sur ce fond lumineux est bien mis en valeur - c'est vrai qu'il est de régle de mettre une note sur TE, même toute petite, mais une note tout de même.je sais que ce n'est pas toujours facile.Bon là en l'occurence, l'image est tellement poétique qu'il nous importe de savoir si elle a été faite ici ou là...d'autant que l'endroit on le situe tt de même puisqu'il s'agit de Masqat...

The photograph as a whole is Brilliant making it look like a Painting...

However there are a couple of minus points about this shot.
First, the backlit areas, if it were the Sun, the leaves facing the camera like the ones on the Top right and the Bird's back would be dark, how have you got them backlit...? Did you use Gamma correction and then increased the Saturation...? That feature makes it look almost artificial.

I see a couple of people have asked you the same question, but you haven't answered any!

Secondly could you kindly share your EXIF data please, which is also not available...

Third, as mentioned by David, please write a note!
