Photographer’s Note
First picture of 2006, and it was taken this morning, just before I left home for work. The sun had not risen yet. In fact, I would only catch a glimp of the sun some 45 minutes later when I arrived in Antwerp. The reason being the fog you see on the picture. Beautiful to look upon, but dangerous to drive in (as I experienced some moments later)!
Again, you see the Christoffelpolder towards the southeast. The trees on the horizon are the Leopoldskanaal.
