Another shot of one of the Mince Pie Special trains at Arley station on the Severn valley railway last week.What I like about this shot is the field of cows at the top of the shot that I feel add to the pastoral feel of this coubtry station shot

Nice shot once again Nigel. The cows in the field certainly show the station in its natural surroundings.I like how curve of the platform, the rails and the train all mirror themselves.

Hi Nigel,
I think this is much better than the previous one. Your zoom works really well. These details are almost invisible on the wide angle version.
Cows on the field, sunlight on trees, smoke, the man on the right...

Well, as you've noticed I'm in a train mood at the moment. I really like the framing and PoV for this one, mkaing great use of the repeated curves of the trains through the frame. The colour balance seems a bit odd though, as though you've reduced the green.
