| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Along Highway 99 of California from Red Bluff to Chico (part of the central valley), there're rows and rows of Nuts or Fruit Trees on both sides along the highway. This is California Walnut (Juglans hindsii) - fast growing and was found growing there 300 years ago by the Spanish Franciscan Fathers. California walnuts account for 99 percent of the commercial US supply and two-thirds of world supply. The trees form natural arch and a green carpet. |

Raluca
fabulous natural arches, and great contrast with the green grass, very nice composition.
Hi Sunny.
Thank you for this image and the informative note about the place that California walnuts play in world agriculture. Good Califronia wintertime scene.
Beautiful landscape, nice colour and detail.
