Photographer’s Note
Pilot Mountain is one of the landmarks in the upper piedmont of North Carolina. This picture is taken from the southern approach fron Winston Salem, NC.
Part of the Great Smokey Mountain range, the blue cast is real, and as seen. This is pretty typical of the mountains of North Carolina and Virginia farther north.
Tech info: ISO 100, hand held at 195mm zoom. Polorizing filter. Cropped with slight USM applied in PS.

La composition est très réussie, le regard est amené directement sur le sujet princiapl par les bandes d'autoroute.

Nice composition. I like the muted blue cast. The roads lead the eye to your subject. Great work.
