Another one from my cotton series... These shy girls were able to smile at me when I pointed the camera at them.

Just a smile for the Christmas... Make sure you smile!! it brighten others day..

hi bala,
nice double portrait with good dof, the girl in front really pops out from the frame. (too bad for the lack of focus though, or maybe i need my 3d glasses?) i like how the (i presume) cotton makes their hair white, they look really young, are they factory workers?

Nice portrait, expressive. Especially the second girl looking at the girl in front. Despite the smile, its heartrending to see these young girls working in cotton factory. The amount of cotton they inhale daily... really sad.

Hi Bala... well, it suffers the same problem as the others from this series. But, you composed it so well, with great linear perspective. I like the 2nd girl in her as well.

Salut Bala,
J'aime beaucoup ta série de portrait de cette fabrique de coton. Bon OK, il y a un petit problème de focus ici, mais ce sont de tellement beaux sourires! Et puis, c'est Noël, alors tout est pardonné! :-)

I really enjoyed your cotton series ... this is a splendid capture ... I don't if it is just me but there seems to be a lack of sharpness in this photo ... besides that it is all very good.
I just saw that you took this photo at 1/20 sec shutter speed ... i was wondering if you were using tripod for this photo
