Photographer’s Note
Another Picture from Toronto. If I recall correctly I took this up in the Kensington Market area. It was an extremly hot day and I walked for miles and miles.
Picture was taken with my X-700. Please critique:-)

Hi Christopher, good urban shot, lots of colours, I tried a WS for you and tried to elimante some of the cables and the foreground.

interesting compo,but so many cables there.it might be better to choose another POV and eliminate the cables.and a little crop would be useful,

I would have to disagree with the two critiques before mine. I think that taking a picture of another "picture" would not have been all that useful. This shot however involves the environment around the "mona and grafiti" it lets the viewer know where you are in realation to this colorful wall.
The lines do not detract too much for me; they just add to the "realness"
I would like to see a black boarder though. IMO simple black or white borders add a finished quality to pictures.

however I kept coming back to this shot because i really like it. I think it is difficult to take interesting pictures of "pictures". So I tried my hand at using PS to see if I could take some of the lines away. Turns out I think it looks pretty good.
