I tend to join Sebastien about the 3 plans construction, what I find interesting is that their importance grows as the eye moves up to finish on the big sky with the "fireworks", to me the strength of your image is in this progression in size and color warming.

Obvious Poalo work.
When it comes to sunsets you have it down pat Paolo. What I like here is the gradual change in colors as each horicontal cloud line is colored just a bit differently. As we move into the distance the colors get hotter and brighter leading to that wonderful sunset in the background.

It is another capture of a spectacular sunset you add to your beautiful portfolio. This one was also captured very well with some excellent warm colours.
It is nice to see that despite the high contrast of light that come with sunsets, you managed to keep details of the sea surface.

The similarity of the two photos is great, your subject is also a dramatic one, magenta see looks pretty great against the orange glow of the sunset.

I like the inclusion of the foreground, not just to anchor the shot but it echoes the shape of the land across the horizon. The colours are of course superb.
There is a similar shot I commented on only a couple of days ago, by alvaraalto, taken in Denmark.

Veramente "drammatico" questo cielo Paolo, straordinariamente saturo.. un tramonto mozzafiato, inutile poi, definire perfetto l'abbinamento con il brano di Dylan.. (tra l'altro, ottima scelta da un'album poco fortunato ma, secondo il mio modesto avviso, niente affatto male, e forse il migliore della sua ultima produzione)

It is an excellent picture of red sky with gold color clouds and blue water. I doesn't see any reflections of the sky in the water. During the shot, it is late night or evenining. Are the colors are natural ?
