Photographer’s Note

I'm sorry I don't publish pictures here very often. My last exam is tomorrow, and after that, I have a 3-week vacation. This means I'll be able to shoot something else than press conferences or concerts. I plan to go at my father's, I'll sure take lots of great winter scenes there.

This picture was shot on the shore of the St-Lawrence River, facing the Beauport Bay; the city profiling at the horizon is Québec (if you have good eyes you can see the Frontenac Castle on the left). Nothing much to say about this picture, winter was coming at that time -now it's here, believe me.

No postprocessing, except for the frame and signature.

Salut Genevieve, excellent shot, full of a beautiful soft winter light, pastel colour tones and a great sun reflection. great composition, with amazing light and focus and perfect point of view.
