[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken when I only had an auto Olumpus camera. I use a torch light and camera flash light to take this, situation here is total darkness if no torch light.
As the image might no be so sharp i sharpen it using photo shop.
I hope some can advise me how to take this photograph in this situation if i go to this place again.

This fenomena is call Gaur Pool (not sure of the spelling). The wall of the pool is the deposit from the sediment carry by the ripple of the water droplet fall from the celling of the cave after tousands of year. I think the curveture of the pool is follow the source ofthe ripple.
This was take in one of caves by the name of Dark Cave in the Batu Caves complexs. If you been to Batu Caves Temple you will notice that the is another caves entrance on the left of Temple Caves entrance. How ever you can enter only with the permission on Malaysia Nature Society as it is close to public.

An Interesting image/notes and well captured - I seams sharp and bright to me (Thanks PS :-) Thanks for sharing.

Actually I can not see what you could do otherwise. To me it is a nice picture. The colours are great and the picture is sharp as well. The only thing that disturbs me is the white spot on the background in the upper right, but it is easely cropped out.

What you could do otherwise depends on what you want or better what you feel that you missed. It is hard to tell because I do not know what is hidden in the dark background. May be a slave flash to light up the background would do the job. It could be placed behind the big rock.

I was intrigued by the thumbnail, so thanks for the note. Like Mogens says, there's not much you can do to change this in postprocessing, but it's an interesting image all the same.
