Photographer’s Note

Evanston is a beautiful city in all sessions. Attractive summer, colourful fall and here you see the winter. This photograph was taken near the Lake Michigan. The lake you see here is a man made and is connected to Lake Michigan.

Evanston is the north suburb of Chicago. Once it was the home to the Potawatami Indians.

Well once it might have been home to Potawatami Indians ... but now it seems to be home to Inidians (from India) ... :D .. No offece to native Indians
Good photo you have here ... I love the colors of vegetation and lake oozing out of the snow covered ground ... the contrast between the green and dried up vegetation is striking and the birds are very nice addition

The is an excellent winter photograph. Mainly because you have managed to capture so much colour which is not always easy in the winter time. The composition is nicely divided with good foreground and background interest with the lake in the middle. Good work

Bonjour Dipak,
j'adore cette atmosphère hivernale, vivifiante mais pas encore trop intenable. Une ambiance de carte postale de noël avec beaucoup d'ingrédients agréables comme cet arbre coloré, cet étang avec les canards en mouvement.

This is a lovely image Dipak. As well as the whites of Winter you have captured plenty of colour left over from Autumn. You have also captured some womderful reflections

Hi Dipak,
Here you captured a very beautiful winter landscape, creating a nice composition. Everything seems to be in order, all in its place.
Perhaps It would have been better, cutting a little bit the top of the sky, and getting more snow with dry plants in the foreground, in this way you would had got more elements in the scene, more winter information.
Anyway, the scene is really nice to see, and very pleasant... just for these days.

Superbe photo, un beau sujet pour faire une peinture.
J'aime les couleurs et la réflection dans l'eau.
Vous serez probablement d'accord avec moi, j'aurais aimé voir le sujet principal un peu moins centré mais ça n'enlève pas la beauté de la photo. Bravo...

Hi,
awesome, the picture looks almost surrealistic; i find in following style of japanese drawings in some way - simple lines and colors give unusual perspective of the space and simple beauty.
