Photographer’s Note
The Palm House in Sefton Park, close to my home in Liverpool.
The Palm House was built in 1896, in the tradition of the Victorian cast iron and glass structure. During the 1980s it fell into disrepair, but it was recently restored and re-opened to the public in 2001. More info here.

This house looks amazing in your photo and in the website. I like the angle you used, and the perfect symmetry of the spider's web roof. I made a WS, trying to increase the symmetry. Happy new year, Andy.

A minimalist shot that seems to scream out for a black & white treatment. I adore the way the light hits the beams. A modern-day spider web. Great work.

A great shot Andy. The thumbnail makes one think of a spiders web – you only miss the spider. May be you could have added a little more saturation to the blue colour.
Welcome on TE and a happy new year to you.

Very nice shot again, Andy. Quite different from your previous ones, but once more showing a good eye for a photographic opportunity. I like the lines and the strong light, and yes the thumbnail is indeed evocative of a spider's web. Well done, and a happy New Year to you.

Belle composition en "toile d'araignée", Simple, mais efficace! Vous avez très bien contrôlé l'exposition, les couleurs, les luminosités sont splendides. Bravo Andy! (I have no more smilies to offer today, sorry. I'll come back tomorrow to give you some).

A well seen abstract, I added to a theme someone has about looking straight up. Strangely, the thme was empty(?) Your picture is well seen and well shot and I think Yitzhak showed you the rest of the work. Well done!

Fine composition almost into the abstract world. The geometric patterens in this setting against the blue sky function very well.

La symétrie est parfaite. J'aime beaucoup cette mosaïque de bleus. Sujet intéressant bien traîté !

Very very well-done. I like the raw quality of your shots that it makes them realistic and easily seen. This shot is very interesting because of the pattern and the play of shadows and lights. Happy new year!

A really great shot, Andy. Its often the detail of a building that can bring you a special and personal memory of having been there.
