Hi Luis,

This picture is very well done and I like the composition. I find it iteresting to see the cognac Glass in the hand of that occidental woman. It could also means that desperation is canalyse in diffierent ways in different culture. Your shot deffinetly troubled me but I can't say why. Weapons and alcool can kill.

As Francis have already mentioned this is the type of photo I totally dig.
The message of it is so powerfull it's just about ready to explode, had you taken a straight shot of the drawing it would have been another snapshot of a display in the museum, by including the woman in the foreground and having her in the line of fire is superb. One one hand I see a clear cultural differences, woman covered from head to tow, and the other having a drink and sunglasses, one is a slave of some kind of fantatic religious group, the other one a big part of western commercializm, and there is also a question of woman's status.

Composition is also great, I don't like however the way the woman turned out, it looks very flat and artificial, not sure if she was very underexposed and you were trying to show some details, or that's how you intended it to be, either way not my cup of tea.

good composition Luis! but there is something wrong on the texture. i am not sure how it work like this. maybe you lens, scan, or underexposed. but still a good shot! well done!
